Afternoon Teas(ers)
An essential ingredient to any Nextfest recipe is DEVELOPMENT, and in that spirit
we would like to draw your attention to our weekend afternoon activities.
Since year one Nextfest has showcased play readings, and 2009 is the third
year in which we'll present a Songwriters' Circle.
This year we're happy to present a U22 line-up for the Songrwriters' Circle, as
well as a full afternoon of readings from local high school playwrights as part
of the Enbridge High School Mentorship Program. These are all works in progress, and
it's your opportunity to participate in the development process.
The setting is informal to facilitate artist exploration and feedback.
It's afternoon, but it's not an afternoon tea. It's an afternoon tease.
