In the aftermath of a violent crime against a gay high school student,
rumours are hurled by an angry public determined to find some reason,
someone to blame for the tragedy. Based loosely on the true story of the
shooting of Lawrence King, the play follows two women as they struggle to
understand their sister’s role in the tragedy. Was it simply a homophobic
hate crime,
or could their sister, the victim’s teacher and confidante, have somehow been responsible?
