Eve searches for resolution following the death of her lover. Her journey through
loss is set in a surreal universe alternating between memory and magic, between
empty downtown streets and the bottom of the sea. Golden leaves.
Slippery fish. Cigarettes. Stolen apples. Old shoes. Shoppers Drug Mart in the
middle of the night. Planes in the sky looking like the underbellies of sharks.
A grilled cheese sandwich from the hospital cafeteria.

I'm waiting to love,
to live,
to die,
to meet you.
Again."

"Fish... is of the familiar school where directors, actors and designers tie themselves
in knots figuring out how to animate a poetic text
...
Director Hobbs does her best to decorate with action, and to divvy up
the text in a way that overlaps artfully."
